Get ready for the largest arts festival to ever occur in South Carolina! The long anticipated, ArtFields, opens today, April 19th at 12pm. For 10 days, this epic event will not only present live music, workshops, and lectures; but, it will showcase 400 works of art, selected from a pool of 778 entries. The opening ceremony will begin tonight at 5pm on The Green, and will continue until 11pm. Admission is free and open to the public.
Many congratulations to the following artists from the Redux community (listed below) who will be exhibiting their work and competing for $100,000 in prize money. The top prize of $50,000 prize will be chosen by a combination of ArtFields attendees and a jury of visual arts professionals.
